Very useful application.
No hassle with IPs, FTP setups and silly options.

Just a good internet connection, send the link to the other party and that's it!

Thanks for offering this for free!

Very good

I was suprised with the program. It's faster than I thought and it is very simple to use.

A great tool, if you have time to transfer

This great free tool is easy to use and comes in handy to send large files over the internet. The transfer rate is slow compared to some other free products I have used. However, I like the look and feel of this product and will keep using it. If they address to tranfer speed and it will be unbeatable!

Slick but not polished

Was able to use Tirminal right away and was nice to see it work first try. But it does have a few rough edges. My screen is 1400x1050 and I set my font to 150% of normal size, so as a lot of other applications do, Tirminal does not correctly display some of the panel, but otherwise it is a great addition to my toolkit. Now even my mother can download a file from me just by clicking on a weblink!!! Try it, you will love the ease of use.

Works Great Except Transfer Sometimes Stops

Works great. The software took advantage of my DSL's full upload speed to transfer a file. It worked faster than say an FTP software running on my PC.

The only con is sometimes the file stops downloading in the middle of the transfer. The recipient may need to get a file download manager to transfer where the file left off. So he won't have to start the download all over again.

Does this SW even work?

I couldn't get any of the features to work in this program, certainly couldn't use it for its intended purpose.

The help documentation is completely out of date, the screen shots aren't even valid, the screen that are referenced don't even exist anymore.

Very poor guys, i would never pay a cent for this product.

My personal opinion on Tirminal performance

I would just like to say this file transfer program really is one of the best transfer programs that are available. Thanks you guys in designing a great program.

No limit on file size and it is free!!!

Tirminal is the perfect solution for me. I live in US and my friends and family live i Europe, so transfer a lot of pictures or send a video via email was a big problem. Not anymore. Tested sending 45 MB file and had no problems. Very easy to use and security is very good, since you can create users and set up passwords. So only person who you send files to can open them. Icing on the cake is that Tirminal is free and does not require network set up.

Fantastic !

Hi,

your program solved a lot of tranfer problems for me. I was using another program, but it required both parties to have their product installed. I am impressed !

your program is by far is the best I have used. Tirminal along with a product called 'log me in' allows me to assist my clients in a very meaningful and beneficial way.

again, thank you for such a great program, and I am forwarding your link to 'the lab with leo' for their 'free file of the day'.

all the best,

Review Of T/007

I am able to use it on my pc, but when I send the links to my friends they are either unable to open or are a bit dubious due to them having a fire wall. They need assurance. Also The movies take such a long time to download - what a shame. One plus can share large files.

Tirminal

This is fantastic. I am a video producer and need to send large video files to clients. I have paid for FTP, gave purchased file share space and all sorts but when I came across this it seemed too good to be true.

Truth it’s true, completely free, reliable and you can send any file anywhere. A good point of the software is the live log you can actually see who's downloading you files and see the progress via a download bar. The other day I sent a huge video file to a client and as he was downloading dropped him an e mail to say "only 10% to go". He came back to me in amazement and it really made us look professional and also looked like we had paid a fortune for the service when infact it was free.

There’s quick links where you just right click on any file and create a link on an e mail like you do when you’re zipping something and it’s all so quick.

Free also sounds to good to be true, but it is totally free. The people at terminal make their money from selling bigger corporate and private version that includes the company’s logos etc.

If you send anything over the internet "THIS IS A MUST"

Download it I promise you won't regret it.

Keep up the good work Tirminal team

MJ

Great software, reliability!...just excellent

I used to share my files with other people using FTP..or other kind of file transfering way. I downloaded Tirminal and my problem of space is gone. The pros of Tirminal are that if you are sharing files with someone, you just have to Drag & drop in the program...setup the security...send the link and thats all..no upload time and no waste of time. The only con that I find is that you have to let the pc on 'till client downloads files, so if it is a big file, maybe you have to wait 1 day or 2 while the transfer is complete until you shutdown your machine. And the second one...I had some problems with sharing files with a mac user...but..anyways. Pros are much significant and makes this software an affordable and reliable way to share files with anyone you like.

I Can`t Believe It Was Free!

An excellent computer to computer via the Internet file sharing program. I have tried several others recently which were simply not reliable and were difficult to configure and were expensive as well. Tirminal is almost completely self-explanatory, and the easy to download manual in PDF format is clear and answered most of my questions about the program. I used Tirminal to solve a very particular problem. I had an older laptop computer with many large files on it, too large to email or to burn to CD. It also had no functional USB or serial ports to use for a wired computer to computer transfer of those valuable files. The laptop had become a locked box. Using Tirminal I was able to transfer those files to a newer machine by way of the Internet effortlessly. The speed of the transfer is only limited by your bandwidth. Tirminal is the next best thing to a Teleporter!
